William Hurtt has over 18 years of experience in accounting and taxation. His customizable, client-specific approach was developed from best practices gained from his experience working at both local and national accounting firms. His clientele is comprised of high net worth individuals and closely held businesses in a variety of industries, including real estate, manufacturing, and professional services.
Prior to starting his own practice in 2009, William was a senior tax manager at Reznick Group, P.C. (now CohnReznick) where he serviced various commercial, hotel, retail and residential real estate companies including REITs, institutional and private investors, and private equity funds.
William’s diverse experience working with different clients and industries allows him to tailor his services specific to each client’s needs.
William frequently consults on issues concerning choice of entity considerations and structuring, capital gains planning for real property sales, and multi-state operations.
He is a member of the Southern California Builder’s Industry Association and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
William earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis, and his Master of Business Taxation from USC’s Marshall School of Business.
